My personal involvement in serious sport started while serving in the Army. I competed in the Army ladies tug of war team for several years, progressing to the England representative squad and turning my hand at coaching the men’s teams. I also ran regimental cross country. Aside from that I am keen on my own personal fitness and regularly train.

As well as being a Strength and Conditioning coach, I am also a Sports Therapist, so I know first hand how injuries impact on performance – physically and mentally, how important it is to treat them properly and to protect the body against them where possible by making ourselves strong with the correct training.

I love designing training programmes for people .. and myself. I will go out of my way to make sure you are never bored, always challenged and building in confidence. So, whether you are a sports person or you’ve never seen the inside of a gym before in your life – I will help you on your journey and make sure you reach your goals, whatever they are.

I have over 20 years Military experience and having played all forms of Rugby at high levels both professionally and for the Army and Combined Services.

I currently Coach Rugby for Saracens Rugby Academy (Kent APDG) and Sussex RFU U17-20s.

My goal as a coach/trainer is to provide quality fitness sessions that are varied, interesting and enable you to reach your goals. For those not confident enough to venture to a gym or train alone, I will help build that confidence to enable you to be-able to carry out your own training unaided. Sessions can be carried out in a small area, indoors or outside. We can use a mixture of kettlebells, body weight exercises, weightlifting, plyometric training, boxing, rugby drills and more…
